About Ford Laser Designs

Ford Laser Designs is a family-owned Hamilton business founded by husband-and-wife team Allan and Jolandi Ford. We began trading in 2018, combining our different strengths with a shared belief that great service should be personal, practical and built around the customer.

Allan brings more than 30 years of experience in engineering, steel fabrication, structural detailing and computer-aided design, with extensive hands-on and technical knowledge across fabrication, workshop operations, AutoCAD and Inventor. His experience allows us to take a customer's idea from an initial sketch or concept through CAD design, CNC plasma cutting, fabrication and manufacture. His expertise also extends to fibre laser engraving and marking, adding another dimension to the custom work we can offer.

Jolandi brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, business development, customer relationships, operations and financial management. Her passion for people and customer service, together with her experience in estimating, sales, pricing and business management, helps ensure that every customer receives personal attention from the first enquiry through to the finished job.

Today, Ford Laser Designs brings together CNC plasma cutting, small fabrication, CAD design, laser engraving and marking, and creative branding solutions under one family business. Whether we're producing a one-off metal component, a personalised gift, custom metal artwork, signage or helping a business bring its brand to life, we approach every project with the same philosophy: quality workmanship, practical solutions and genuinely personal service.
